New to Zenoss and am working through some issues with ZenWin. First:
Having much difficulty getting ZenWin to model/monitor remote servers, I believe this is due to some system hardening and firewall settings on those servers. When ZenWin is run locally on the box, and only one windows device exists in Zenoss, it models the services just fine and updates them just fine. As soon as a second server is added to Zenoss, ZenWin tries to model all the devices and I get all sorts of RPC errors for the remote device. My question, is there a way to configure ZenWin to not model/monitor devices other than the local device. I can install ZenWin on all my servers. Second: The log file sizes of ZenWin grow very quickly. Is there a setting to define log size, or does the zensvc.py file need to be edited to remove the logging. Much appreciated.
