I have network accessible sensor (sensatronics Model e4) that I want to
monitor with zenoss. There is a nagios plugin that can be used to gather
data. The sensor, does not seem to have SNMP available (even though it
is published as supporting it.) I've configured the nagios plugin to
gather data, and the output of running " zencommand run -v 10" returns
without any unusual output.
The problem is when I set up a graph. there is no .rrd file created by
the zencommand process. I can create an rrd file for every other snmp
capable device by running "zenperfsnmp run -d hostname.domain.com -v10",
but without any snmp information to gather, there is nothing to write.
Is it possible to gather rrd daat for a graph without snmp information?
