Same here.  My company has paid me enough to troubleshoot Zenoss 2.0.2 that 
they could have just bought an Enterprise edition of it, but my guess is things 
would still not work right.  I'm giving up for now.  If I turn on WMI my 
services start to crash, like zeneventlog.  It's been very frustrating, 
especially when zeneventlog crashes every 5 minutes, I get no events.

So I'm looking at hyperic now.  It has an agent that runs on any OS type and 
gathers copious amounts of data from the system, way more then SNMP informant.  
You get read/write on hard drives, win events, monitors SQL and its Databases, 
and just crap load of stuff, even monitors my Zimbra now.  So far its awesome.
