Open a shell and do lsof|awk '/webcache/' ... See if zenoss is actually
listening on the port, if it doesn't show up then lsof|grep 8080 or
whatever your /etc/services is listing under 8080...

If it is running, trying clearing your cache. Is the machine you're
connecting from remote, local, same machine? If remote, do some
diagnostic checks can you telnet zenoss.server.ip 8080 can you ping it, etc.

What's in Z2.log?

tail -n 5 /path/to/zenoss/logs/Z2.log

Are you firewalling? (iptables -L)
