I have version 2.0.4 (running on Kubuntu Feisty) and have finally completely
migrated from WhatsUp. I monitor many routers for a big network. I have the
following issues if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

All alerts are sent to my cellphone and my regular email.

- Don't always get a Cleared message to my phone but do to my regular email

- WhatsUp had a dependency setting that if a core router was down, any routers
attached to it (possibly considered a "System") would not alert that they were
down since the core was down (assuming anything attached to it was down as
well). It just gets annoying when you get a page for EACH device back to back
when one would do.. Any ideas on a work around?

- I have asked this a few times with no answers. Maybe it will be in a future
version. I monitor a lot of Cisco routers with many many interfaces. Is it
possible to not only display the Interface Description in the OS tab, however
to send the Description with the emails? Otherwise, if a t ech is on the road,
he either must have photographic memory or has to zip to a connection to find
out who the interface belongs to so he can make the appropriate call.

Again, I appreciate any help as I love this program and my superiors are very
impressed with it so far (other then the issues above).

Thanks!

Andy
