It would be very nice to have a manual option for dependencies like Nagios paranting. A simple box where the parant device/service is linked from automatic discovery which you could also manually edited would be great. For instance on the device status/edit pages.
The automatic dependencies work well on a layer 2 network, but on WAN links with multiple unamanged routers in between and a good range off different subnets, it doesnt work at all for me.
