So, I have been trying for the better part of the day and night to get alerts to work the way we need them to work. Which is to only page about a service that is down as long as the host is not down.
If the host is down, do not alert on the failed services, and only alert us with the host is down page. Since if the host is down then so should be the services. I've been searching the forums and still have not found a answer for what I am trying to do.
