I'd put something a little better in the title, but I can't think of a short
way of putting this.

What I would like to do is setup a Zenoss machine here at my office, using a
public WAN address. Obviously, sitting on a public WAN address, doing
discoveries and scans isn't going to accomplish a whole lot.

Unlike most users of software like this, I'm not trying to monitor a bunch of
stuff here on my own office network - what I want to do is find a way to
monitor a bunch of stuff on a couple dozen of my clients' networks. It seems to
me, to accomplish this, I obviously can't have Zenoss going out and polling
these devices, because they're all going to be blocked by their local
firewalls.

What I need is to find a way to get devices to check in with Zenoss from their
end, since they can get through their own firewalls, rather than Zenoss polling
from the outside.

Can this be done? If so, how so?

Thanks
-Joe
