I have a linux router with 2 real interfaces (only one is active), 1 vmnet8
(vmware) interface to access VMs running in a DMZ subnet, plus 2 VPN interfaces
for VPN connections.

When I model this device, the network listing shows the external IPs and their
networks OK, plus the VPN interfaces and their networks OK. However, the vmnet8
interface does not have any network listed (ie: 10.2.3.1/24 should have network
10.2.3.0 )- but it's blank.

Consequently, (i think), in the routing section where it lists nexthop - the ip
10.2.3.1 (none) is shown. As if zenoss isn't realizing that 10.2.3.1 is a valid
IP for this device. I've tried adding routes so that my routing table says
10.2.3.0 has a gateway of 10.2.3.1 - to see if I could force it - but it
doesn't seem to make a difference.

So how is the Network column of the Interface section populated? and what
entries do I need to get it populated?

Thanks
