Well, how would you judge the quality of HP Openview for instance? Or
any closed source product? You'd grab the eval or ask the vendor for a
demo. I'm saying that Zenoss Core is nice, I like it. I like getting
stuff for free. But I also understand that OSS free code is never
guaranteed to be bug free. It often isn't even polished like commercial
code in the UI or installs. You have to *work* to get it to work, but
then there's no licensing fee.
If you want to compare to commercial code - compare the commercial code,
get an eval of the Enterprise version.
