Thanks for the update. Quite sad really. Why do I feel like a beta tester all over again. This should have been caught and fixed by the FIRST Zenoss Employee that tried to test it prior to release. You simply cant install from that RPM due to missing files. MISSING FILES people! How can that slip through?
Do you even test these things before release? Think about the reputation you've tried to build here and a broken release WEEKS OLD sitting on the front page pretty much stomps all over that. I can understand bugs from logic error, or even deps for an upgrade since users could have all kinds of strange configurations, but simple missing files is rather embarrasing. Really it is. Just when I've finally thought things were maturing and the company was moving in the right direction we find this. I'm starting to lose hope. How long has this release been out? How many hundreds have downloaded it only to think WTF this is a joke. Message to Zenoss Inc: You are losing customers, get your act together. More and more I find myself desiring to create my own NMS because no one can get it right these days. They will just reply with some innocent sounding post and I'll feel bad for grilling them.
