I never received any response from the forum. I think the root of my troubles came after trying to install the HTTP monitor Zenpack in a Zenoss Virtual Appliance. I have since reinstalled Zenoss with the stack install on Ubuntu and have not had any trouble with the Zenpacks. I know this doesn't help, but IT is a solution.
