I am also getting the same error with Zenoss 2.2 on Fedora. Originally I also
the error was returned after installing the 2.2 HTTP Zenpack in egg format, but
I have subsequently had the same problem after installing the 2.2 MySQL Zenpack
in egg format as well.

After the installs, the device list is wiped out and I can no longer view any
devices in the device list. I still can see devices in the /Device class but
like everyone else cannot delete them. Also strangely if I query zenpacks with
the zenpack command, it tells me no zenpacks are installed; although they do
appear as installed in the web interface.

Unfortunately I was not able to resolve the issue and had to reinstall as well
after removing the previous installation manually. Has anyone received any
feedback as to what is happening here? This seems like a pretty strange bug as
I never experienced anything like this with 2.1.
