Well, the 2>/dev/null is just dumping std error... No real issue there. Not sure why after you've loaded the MIB dependency that you're getting the unable to find file.

Maybe try
zenmib run SNMPv2-SMI SNMPv2-TC
see if that works...

something like this..

Code:
bash-3.1$ zenmib run common/share/mibs/ietf/SNMPv2-SMI -v10
DEBUG:zen.zenmib:SNMPv2-SMI
DEBUG:zen.zenmib:running smidump -fpython "common/share/mibs/ietf/SNMPv2-SMI"
2>/dev/null
INFO:zen.zenmib:Loaded mib SNMPv2-SMI

bash-3.1$ zenmib run common/share/mibs/ietf/SNMPv2-TC -v10
DEBUG:zen.zenmib:SNMPv2-TC
INFO:zen.zenmib:Unable to find a file providing the MIB SNMPv2-SMI
DEBUG:zen.zenmib:running smidump -fpython "common/share/mibs/ietf/SNMPv2-TC"
2>/dev/null
ERROR:zen.zenmib:Failed to load mib: common/share/mibs/ietf/SNMPv2-TC
