Hi amd64agent, I have same Problems with Fortigate-MIB, I post it on July24, 2008 and get no return. It is not recommended, that you include dependencies to standard-MIBs like SNMPv2-SMI and so on, because zenmib look at directory /common/share/mibs/ietf for standard-MIBs to include. In the new Version the directory "share" and "libexec" no longer in $ZENHOME so you must add a symbolic link "share" and "libexec" to /usr/local/zenoss/common/share and /usr/local/zenoss/common/libexec
sometimes it will help. But to my MIB it woudn't work. zenmib show the same error as you get. I have no Idea. I try following solution first I make the symbolic link then ... try with all dependancies in one zenmib commandline ... error as you get then ... try zenmib with absolute-path to mibs with all dependancies in one zenmib-commandline... error as you get then ... copy fortigate-mib to /usr/local/zenoss/common/share/mibs/ietf try zenmib without path directly in /usr/local/zenoss/common/share/mibs/ietf with all dependancies in one zenmib-commandline ... error as you get then ... try zenmib in $ZENHOME without dependancies to standard-mibs in "ietf" ... get same error as you get every time I try this fortigate-MIB I get error "fail to locate ..." When I try to integrate Dell-MIBs for Dell-Server without using dependancies to standard-MIBs in /.../ietf/ they will integrated in Zenoss. I think, there is a Bug in Zenmib. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23409#23409 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
