I'm aiming this one at the Dev's or anyone that has Zenoss setup at remote datacenters.
I've got Zenoss setup at 4 datacenters. They are point-to-point VPN links. Two are local (SF Bay Area), one is in New York and one is in Germany. I've got smokeping pointed at the core routers to monitor latency. Here are the details: San Jose, CA: 3.4 ms RTT average New York: 74.9 ms RTT average Germany: 175 ms RTT average San Jose has great UI performance. New York and Germany suffer quite a bit; Germany being the worst. 1) At what point (ms latency) should I see my UI experience suffer? 2) Is there any way to tweak UI performance or am I stuck with pages that take upwards of 10+ seconds to load? 3) Is this related to Zope, AJAX...? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23664#23664 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
