Running Zenoss 2.2.3 on CentOS 5.

Added a custom threshold alert according to these instructions
(http://www.zenoss.com/Members/cluther/polling-interface-status/) (Thanks for
that writeup cluther). Everything was working as expected. Added a few
devices and had no issues. Attempted to create my own custom threshold under
the ethernetCsmacd template.

Code:
Name: Operational Errors
Data Points: ifInErrors_ifInErrors, IfOutErrors_ifOutErrors
Min Value: 0
Max Value: 0
Event Class: /Perf/Interface
Severity: Warning
Escalate Count: 3
Enabled: True.

With this in place whenever I attempt to add a new device Zenoss fails to
create the RRD files. Checking the folder for the files shows only the pickle
file. If I delete the device, remove this custom threshold, and then add the
device back all the RRD's are created.

I am unable to figure out what in this threshold prevents the RRD files from
being created. At the end I am looking to have Zenoss log an event when
circuit takes errors and to raise and alert when these errors persist for a
period of time.
