It is a pretty serious problem that will end up causing zenactions to have problems and affect all alerting. You're right on the money with what the solution is. We need to copy the schedules and link the copied alerting rule to them, but we also need to make sure that we don't copy the references to the existing schedules along with the alerting rule.

I haven't gotten into it this far yet myself.
