Hi I just noticed that even when zenoss has discovered a host-down, it will actually still perform the performance-template-checks that is defined for this host (ie. generate seperate alarms for each of the templates). Is this a feature or a bug? The performance template uses a custom command to monitor the device.
I have even put the server in maintenance mode, and I can see that the other checks that have failed (ie. IOProcess and IPservice) before zenoss noticed host-down, won't actually be made until the host is up again. I'm running zenoss core 2.2.3.
