I've been able to get several devices added. Once i figured out that "SNMP 
Community" is what i was referring to as the "password" in /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf 
and that "Device Name" is the IP or FQDN. 

Not thrilled with the documentation so far. I think im going to have to buy the 
book to really understand this monitoring system.
