I really wish there was an option to manually set the speed of an interface in 
Zenoss. Something that would override the value SNMP is reporting. I can think 
of a number of scenarios that this would be useful for:

1.) Some devices report their interface speeds incorrectly.

2.) Some devices don't report their interface speeds at all.

3.) Sometimes you rate limit an interface, i.e. you have a gigE interface but 
it's rate limited at 200Mbps, and thresholds should reflect that.

4.) Sometimes a device will have fastE interfaces but the CPU can only handle 
for example 30 Mbps, so in reality you want to know when the throughput on that 
device is getting maxed.

I've tried hacking around in the source code but I'm not python-savvy enough to 
pull this off. It would be great if there was a zProperty or something...
