I opened up a TAC case on this as well and the TAC engineer thinks it is related to this bug: CSCsq57163
SNMP ifSpeed incorrect for internal/data interfaces Symptom: SNMP ifSpeed counters are incorrect. Conditions: When internal data/loopback interfaces are present when ASA 5505 is configured with vlan interfaces He recommended upgrading to 8.0(4) in which the bug has been squashed.
