Hi,

I've been looking for topics in zenoss that would help me setting up SNMP traps
for MAC Change Notification from Cisco switches. I saw some discussions but the
information really doesn't apply to what I need to do. The reason I want my
zenoss to receive traps for every MAC changes (added and removed on the
switchport) in order to log the MAC addresses and historically save them for
future reference so we can trace a compromised machine that connects to a
switch for certain period of time. I configured my Cisco to send SNMP traps to
Zenoss. Zenoss is able to receive it but the OID is not being translated in a
more descriptive format. Is there a way how to do this? Also zenoss is not
logging each trap and it doesn't record MAC address. If there's someone knows
how to make this happen I would appreciate if you can provide some insights. Or
if there's some documentation or information in zenoss website please direct me
to the URL. Thanks for your help.

/Arnel
