You're absolutely right, I do not. The interfaces I need to monitor are optical links on Cisco 72xx boxes that support SNMPv2 easily. Unfortunately, as documented in a couple of previous zenoss-users threads (see below), Zenoss does a backflip when attempting to use 64-bit counters for myself (and others). So, basically, I am looking for a workaround that will allow me to continue using Zenoss before I have to go looking at different traffic-graphing software. I like Zenoss a lot, so I'm willing to stretch to make it work. Polling once every other second is not unreasonable, really, assuming I can find a way to only fast-poll the 13 counters in question and not everything else.
