Well, I tried doing a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10, and went through all the steps in the ubuntu feisty guide, started the zenoss 2.3 install and it failed again at the same place as my abortive upgrade. I followed the "comment out these 3 lines" advice again, but no joy. Am I better off back at 2.2?
