According to the manuals it is a feature of Core so you can do as described - have different cycle times for different groups of devices such as local and WAN. I tried the same thing and got the same result as you. Everything but the Localhost monitor displays nothing, no graphs, no up/downs. The fping shows a 100% packet loss. Can someone from Zenoss please clarify?
