To put the question simple. Is it possible, to export/import everything
except events and devices from installation to installation? Thanks
again!

Yes, the tabs we have added are via ZenPacks and we would re-install
them. So that part is fine. But we would like to move the entire
configuration to new install [minus devices and events] everything else.
Is that possible and how? Thanks again!

No, changes like you describe are normally done via Zenpacks (if you
want them to be portable), and you'd reinstall the zenpacks.

The backup and restore are generally for the events database and the
devices...(and maybe rrd files?)...

If you didn't make your changes via Zenpacks, I don't think there is a
way to easily copy them over...

Although, I suppose, if you use the same OS etc, you might be able to
actually copy the entire install directories, plus a sql dump and the
backup, and restore all of them (but you would also get the devices)...
