Ok, sure. This is good. Is there a way to not have devices either via
command line option or programmatically?

Basically, we don't want to go to UI and delete manually [events and
devices].

I think what Chet means is do the migration as suggested, and on the new
box, just remove all the devices and performance data, leaving the
original alone.
