For 2 - don't you get that via SNMP already? I suppose if you really 
wanted to get them via WMI you could see (for instance) Jane Curry's 
Process Monitoring paper, write up the commands via wmic and use a bunch 
of event commands (which is what I think Zenoss already does in the 
background for WMI polls). There was also a recent thread on dumping 
info into the GUI like you want.
