Thanks for the reply. I deleted the collector plugins, I'll see what happens tonight.
I guess the part I'm missing is; why is ZenOSS remodeling the devices nightly? If this is intended behavior, then why does the "Lock changes" option for each collector not prevent updates as stated? The details of this behavior would be very helpful in the user guide. Did you have any thoughts on why "httpd" is being detected and listed as down, and "/usr/sbin/httpd" is not? Apache is never in fact been down, but this process without full path is being discovered on multiple hosts causing false alerts.
