You hit the nail on the head. What's odd is that when I look at the event with Computer Manager in addition to the generic "cannot be found" text I get the real, useful information that I'd like to handle in the transform (the bold text below). I'm wondering if Zenoss can get at that text? This is what appears in the "Description" box in Event Viewer:
The description for Event ID ( 3 ) in Source ( NotesEvent ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: SERVERNAME/Servers/MY/DOM, (SERVERNAME/Servers/MY/DOM) Mail.Waiting = 146, max allowable: (50) [DOMN-123456] -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=37442#37442 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
