You can create sub-locations beneath your locations if that's what you  
mean.  For example, if you had 3 locations in Texas, you could create  
"/Locations/Texas" and add "Texas" in the address field.  Then you  
could add "Austin", "Dallas" and "Houston" beneath that location and  
add their addresses as well.  So when you drill-down in locations to  
"Texas", you would see the 3 sub-locations.  These sub-locations can  
have further sub-locations and be as specific as you want (street  
addresses, lat/long, etc.), so you should be able to create a view of  
the locations you desire.  You could then save "/Locations/Texas" as  
your view on the map dashboard portlet to quickly see this view (you  
may have multiple maps on the dashboard).
