I don't know about having different room and what not but I believe the client 
(running the web browser) makes the call to google not the zenoss server. I 
could be wrong but I think that's how it works. So if one's PC has access to 
google.com the maps should work. As your not trying to do this it does not 
really matter I suppose but I just wanted to clear up who makes the call to 
google maps.
