It's never clear to me when you are on-board and abandoning 0MQ. It's
fair to assume this is one of your "on board" phases?
Personal pokes aside, the goals of what you call "ideology" are quite
simple and I don't think uncontroversial unless you're in the line of
fire. libzmq has been throttled by elitist decision making, to a point
where the broad voice of the community was ignored in favour of the
personal opinion (now here is where you can use the term "ideology"
accurately) of a very few people.

Do you really want to get into this, Mato? There is very little I say
or do that isn't the result of consultation with others.

That is an old design, discussed at the time, and one that I tried for
pragmatic reasons. Since people don't like it, I've changed it. Anyone
could have sent me a patch to CZMQ, I'd have accepted it without
issue.
