THE GHOST AND THE PIZZA The ghost of my father haunts the Riverbank cemetery He was a sticker for symmetry so his ghost also is. Is this perfect rectangle, six by three? Is it in line with all other cemeteries of the C.A.family? The ghost would survey each day and on the Cauvery On the banks of the Cauvery,[ the children of god] would bury. After which the whole family would sit eating puffed rice but me dad was Stanford MBA so his ghost was on the look out for buerettas ,the northern equivalent of the pizza and this Aniram ,the VJ who came with a knapsack to select settings for a few Kannadasan songs got slightly mauled by those long fingers which had difficulty unwrapping silver foil paper , so Aniram prepared a plate and picked up a skeleton fork and spoon and me dad was happy and did a ghost courtesy. But all's fair in the world of ghosts as they say. With different yardsticks for dignity and it is not at all un -ghostly to dance in hunger flaying arms like a windmill and pretending to be a scarecrow when someone's on the lookout.
