Dear Lillian, I didn't like the inversion you have made at "know not", and the comma after "not" here has to be removed. Similarly after "Know" in the second line. The rhyme is interesting, but that alone won't make it a poem. My opinion is that it is a modest attempt at verse making. Regards, Prasad
