Ok, all the bits and pieces I (thought I) needed became available and I have ordered & assembled my "mini" NAS. Once I get the pictures off my camera (when will the Eye-Fi support CF!?) I will do up a blog entry on the construction & update this thread.
My biggest problem so far is that there is no driver support for the onboard network interfaces (Broadcom BCM5787M) in OpenSolaris 2008.05. The bge driver isn't working, but I just saw a couple posts that the bcem driver might work, so we'll give it a whirl tonight. I really hope it works, because I really, *really* want to have this thing utilizing ZFS. Hardware list, for those interested...
