Very Urgent Need Of EMC Network Consultant*(Rate:$43/hr)* Position - EMC Network Consultant Duration - 6 Months Location - Ridgefield, CT
REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge of Windows and MS Office - Knowledge of Veritas NetBackup and / or EMC NetWorker backup software - Detail oriented and accurate/precise Optional: - Knowledge of HP Service Desk - Knowledge of EMC Documentum Records Manager - Experience working in a regulated environment RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor and check the backup jobs and follow up with server administrators on failed jobs. - Recycle tapes within the software to allow repeated use - Move tapes in and out of the tape libraries as required - Extract monthly backup tapes from tape libraries for offsite storage and enter them into our Records management system for shipping offsite - Verify information on data recovery request forms and perform data recovery jobs on Windows servers. - Add or remove servers from backup configurations as requested by server and application administrators - There might be some additional work related to the backup environment as time allows.
