All of southeast Alaska looks like that picture in the late afternoon on a clear day. That picture is especially scenic because of the lighthouse. On the other hand, there is a scenic vista about 10 minutes from our home where another lighthouse, the Guard Island lighthouse, makes just a beautiful a view. Yes, I stand in awe of what lies immediately out the windows of our home. It is just too beautiful to describe.
