Before glucose testing? I'd like to know more.
Yes, me too. I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a couple of weeks ago. Right now, I am glucose testing about 6 times a day trying to get an idea of my body's pattern and trying to control the glucose levels. (I am just finally starting to get most of my readings into the under 140 range)
I am especially interested in what features to look for in choosing a meter. My insurance will buy me a meter, and for $14 a shot, give me up to 90 days of medication and supplies (they all have to be filled at once to qualify, otherwise, $14 each). I am testing an Ascensia Breeze meter now (mine to keep, but I am not sure it is what I want long term)
Also, I am very interested in glucose reading monitoring software. I got the one for this meter, but without the $30 cable, it sucks pretty much to use.
