There are many things wrong in my life - in all our lives - right now.
There is enough hardship going around for me to believe that no one who
is striving to choose the right is having an easy time of it. And there
are times when I come close to despair.

And then I get reminded by a wonderful lesson on the Atonement today of
all that Jesus Christ has done, is doing, and will do. Of how much He
loves us, of how He chastises us only when necessary, of how He promises
us all that He has and all that Father has given Him.

No new doctrine, no real surprises. Just a wonderful reminder that we
live in hope, not in despair. And I know in whom I have placed my hope.
