[ZION] Steven E. Robinson and Salvation and Calling and Election Again

Hi.  I'd like to hear from those who have read the books "Believing Christ" 
and "Following Christ."  I'd like to know from those people how they 
explain his current position with the ceremony of calling and election made 
sure.  According to him, if we are doing the best we can with also 
repentance and trying to follow the prophets, etc., we conditionally have a 
place in the kingdom right now.  He places a lot of emphasis on the 
atonement and Christ's grace.  He comes close, in my opinion, to the 
Protestant position but does not quite go there.  What are the feelings of 
most on the list concerning his writings?
