Hi Thomas

I have a 6200 basically the same only not all in one.

Mine I bought NEW in 1995 it came with OS 7.5.3.

I have had no problems upgrading to OS 9.1 the last it is possible to load
it is slow but workable.

The was a problem on earlier models regarding the MOBO. Apple had a
repair procedure setup for it to be repaired FOC but this has since passed.

I received a floppy from Apple to use to test for the fault.

This test program is on the Apple site to download and test the hardware
look for 52XX-62XX-63XX test program..

If it reports the problem the only solution now is to find a later MOBO or one
were the upgrade has been done on.

Good luck

I just got a PowerMac 5200, and it seems to have a
Hard Ware problem concering the ROM. But other than
that, Irt seems to work fine. Is there some way I
could get the extensions to work??

It's running system 8.0.
