Many times, I was asked for changing the fonts in the lyrics lines.
Now, with the actual ABC syntax, the sequence:

        AAAA|AAAA|
        %%vocalfont Times 14
        w:nor-mal\
        %%vocalfont Times-Italic 14
        w:i-ta-|lic_\
        %%vocalfont Times 14
        w:nor-mal

works fine.
