I would say because I don't know how to change it. Instructions would be great!

There an option to turn hard deletes on which requires a restart of BES, and would apply to your situation i.e. if you remove items from the Deleted Items folder before BES has reconciled it, they never get reconciled :( From: bes-admins-boun...@dataoutages.com [mailto:bes-admins-boun...@dataoutages.com] On Behalf Of Darhl Thomason Sent: 14 January 2010 19:26 To: A list for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc. Subject: Re: [Bes-admins] Email reconciliation Question That reminded me, we also have to leave the items in the Outlook deleted items folder. If you delete from Outlook and empty the deleted folder, then it doesn't remove from the BB even if you reconcile now. Reconcile now just forces the update immediately. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to work, but that's how it does work for us. But when she deletes from Outlook she wants it to synch to the Blackberry. Can this be done? Her email reconciliation option was set to delete on handheld but did not create the desired result. Emails removed from Outlook to not get synched back to the device. This is my first request of this kind so I really wasn't sure. thanks Doreen Moller Lead Analyst, Infrastructure - Mobility Schering-Plough Corp 908-473-3627 (Summit) doreen.mol...@spcorp.com<mailto:doreen.mol...@spcorp.com> ********************************************************************* This message and any attachments are solely for the intended recipient.
