Hi,

My oven is not a self-cleaning one.

I ended up cleaning it with a scouring pad, at first, with soap and water. The
layer of scalded milk and soup was pretty thick, so I had to scrape some off,
with a metal utensil, as I really have short fingernails, and that would have
hurt anyway! I did get most of it off; I have to work on it a bit more
tomorrow, to finish the job, but it took a lot of elbow grease.

As a reward, I went out to dinner and the store, with my sister, because i was
fed up with my working at home all afternoon, over two hours, on that darned
oven.

Claudia

  Hi,
don't know much about this sort of thing. However I would be very
careful using steel wool or any abrasive.
especially if the oven is self cleaning.
  Max.
