You were dead on, Sammy - turning on debugging can take a 1/4 second MG:U page load and turn it into 10-12 seconds, primarily because of the number of method calls involved.

My apologies. I should have noted that I haven't used the framework in question. However, I have yet to notice that having debugging turned on would cause a load time from maybe 1/4 of a second to 10 seconds, just in general. I just assumed that the framework wouldn't cause such a performance loss. Dave Shuck wrote: On the contrary, if you put Reactor into production mode and turn of debugging you will see an enormous performance difference. I use MachII/Reactor quite a bit and the combination of those being in development mode and debugging turned on (even if it isn't being displayed!) can cause the kind of load times you are talking about. ~Dave On 7/11/06, Sammy Larbi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Tom Chiverton wrote: > On Tuesday 11 July 2006 13:24, Russ wrote: > > > reload and to run in production mode.
