You may want to take a look and see what function it is calling in the onchange attribute of the select tag (can get this by viewing the source of the page after it is sent to the browser). Then make sure it is calling that function with the correct parameter on page load, or somewhere after that element is created. If it is not, modify it or your code to make sure it does.

I'm not familiar with that custom tag, but thats what it sounds like is going on.

Has anyone had experience with this tag before. This tag works great but when I need to use it in an edit mode I just can not get it to pre populate both boxes because the second drop down is built on the fly. If anyone can provide some insight It would be greatly appreciated.
