Because there are lots of ways to go about growing food in, and around, cities and towns, some contributors to this list are probably scratching their heads as they try to guess at your particular definition of "urban agriculture." If you would you tell us a bit more about your paper (i.e., are you thinking of gardens that are used primarily to raise produce for sale, or of community gardens consisting of individual plots, or . . . ?), I'm sure that you'll get some great responses. If you don't yet have such a definition, we can help you with that, too.

Hi,

I'm working on a paper on the costs of urban agriculture and I'm looking for
some information about how many people are needed to take care of a garden. All
I need is the number of persons and the size of the plot. If any of you can
share that information, it would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ana
