This made me laugh. At the garden I'm a member of in NYC, we have a core group
of people, the oldest being 92, and a never-ending turn-over group. Some of
them don't get burned out. They join, pay their dues plant their beds, and we
never see them again.
They just don't have that obsessed gardener mentality. Cathy

You only need five people. Then, the following year, you need five new ones
because the first five will be entirely burned out :)

Subject: [Community_garden] How many workers do you need to maintain a
garden?

Hi,

I'm working on a paper on the costs of urban agriculture and I'm looking for
some information about how many people are needed to take care of a garden.
All I need is the number of persons and the size of the plot. If any of you
can share that information, it would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ana
